| The Community House was located between Main Street and Church Street at East Wilson Avenue where there is now a gas station, motel, and trailer park. It served not only as a gathering place for picnics, ballgames, holiday parties, and other events; it also housed a daycare. Because women were an important part of its workforce, the Mill offered daycare services for its mothers. |
