The Mill sponsored a minor league baseball team, the Mooresville Moors. Moor Park, on the corner of Broad and West Lowrance, was home to the Moors. Beyond the park you can see a dense cluster of homes. Those houses were built with the smallest floor plan of all the typical house styles.
