Mooresville and the Lake Norman area are home to a plethora of events and entertainment outlets. The venues listed on this page have been selected because of their ease of access (i.e. walking distance) from the Mill Village or for their exceptional interest.
Downtown Gallery/Shop Crawl
1st Saturday of the month
Blues and Burritos
Third Saturday in September. The Homesley, Goodman & Wingo law firm puts on this fantastic event on the lawn of the beautiful Isaac Harris House on the edge of the Mill Village. Bring some cash for a donation, as the event is actually a fundraiser and proceeds go to local organizations. Food, beer, and music are provided--be sure to walk, not drive!
Mooresville Concert Series
MCS brings an eclectic mix of music--bluegrass, cajun, gospel, Irish, and folk to name a few--to Mooresville. Concerts are held at the Charles Mack Citizens Center. Contact the Center for the updated schedule.
Bluegrass Jam
Informal jam every Saturday morning around 9am at Pat's Cafe downtown. Bring an instrument or just stomp your feet to the rhythm.

First Weekend of October
Historic Mooresville Tour of Homes
October 17-19, 2008

Mooresville Christmas Parade
Like a modern celebrity, this parade seems to be famous just for being famous. TV stations and "All Mooresville" come out for the event. Area high school bands competing for a prize keep your booty moving to the beat. Among other quirks, the parade is held on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at around 3 pm--not exactly convenient. But for Mill Villagers, the convenience is location--the parade comes down Main Street and finishes at the Mill.
